Sausman Chevrolet
 

Hello to all

I have a 1967 Camaro Pace Car, it originally was delivered
to Sausman Chevrolet, Lemoyne, PA on 4-13-67.

I am trying to find any info on the car, perhaps past owners,
history, etc.

Car had been in Pennsylvania when it was discovered and restored.

If any of you may know of a salesman or local person in the area
that may have any info on the car, could you help me contact them??

Ironically, I just got off the phone with a Sunderland Chev employee this morning! He told me that Sunderland was previously Sausman until he (Dave Sausman) died in '69. Sunderland had first chance to acquire the franchise, and did so - changing the name to Sunderland from '69 till it was sold to Forbes Chev in 1982.

Unfortunately, this guy did not work there until '68 and did not recall any specific cars - not even high priced muscle cars. This dealer was very big into Corvettes, and had as many as 40 of them on the lot at one time. He was aware of Yenko cars, and confirmed that they did not sell any of the Yenko models.

Pretty sure I have a 1967 matchbook cover from Sausman at home....
