I just received word this morning that my friend Ronnie Evans passed away this morning from a heart attack. He was one of my closest friends and a drag racer all his life. A fellow 409er.

Yes, that was a tough one. A great drag racer from the early 409 years and it was always a pleasure to take a walk down memory lane with "Wildfire" at the local car shows. One of the fastest 409 cars in the Country!

Ronnie was a great guy, I knew him through Verne but he always treated me and talked with me as if he had know me for years, a great guy, he will be missed.

Remembering a great guy, Ronnie Evans....always a joker, a great dedicated racer, with whom I had raced against. My deepest condolences to his wife and son....."The Weekend Warrior" Rick and Bruce
