The Milwaukee Auto Show in late 60s eraly 70s.

Does anyone remember when they had the new car show in Milwaukee as well as the address where it was held?

It was at State Fair Park in West Allis in the early '60s, also site of the Milwaukee Mile. Those buildings are long gone.

I'm sure it has a street address but I do not know what it is/was. The main entrance is on Greenfield Avenue and is bordered by 76th street on the east, 84th street on the west, I-94 north.

That was for new cars? Wasn't there something down town towards the lake?

Thanks

Yup, new cars. Thw World of Wheels custom car show has been at the Fair Park for some time. But there was one at the downtown Auditorium in the '60s.

There was no auto show [new cars] for years; it was revived maybe in the '80s and has been downtown since. Much closer to the lake than West Allis but a mile or so from the lake.
