67 L79 engines for the Chevelles / El Caminos were rated @ 325hp

Re: l79 1967
IIRC 66 had Holley carb and aluminum intake. 67 had q-jet and cast iron intake.

Re: l79 1967
aren't those '65-'66 v/covers? '67s had script covers?

Re: l79 1967
I am far from an expert on anything but dads 67 has an aluminum iintake and Holley carb which are both supposed to be original to the car. Unfortunately the original 327 threw a rod in the early 70's so the original block was long gone. He sold the original heads when we put the 383 in it.

Re: l79 1967
Q jets are for 68...Alum intakes and holleys correct for 67...Why is everybody confused on this????

Re: l79 1967
1967 Chevelle took an aluminum intake. The Nova took the cast ron intake.
