New PB for Deuce
 

Sunday, though the weather was cool, in the 50s, good day for racing. First pass off of the trailer I thought it would be a fun day, as the Deuce went skyward at the hit, running new PBs of 6.561 with a 1.392 60'. Second pass was better, a 1.374 60' netted a 6.483 ET.

Drew was having a good day, until he got a tough break in the finals. The other JR pre-staged/staged before Drew got to the line, thus when Drew pre-staged it turned on the computer's auto start. He was slow to stage, not wanting to deep stage, just barely in, making the stage bulb flicker. Before I could get to him to let him know what was going on, auto start turned the red bulb on in his lane.

I thought this shot of two Novas launching was kind of cool...we run about even..only difference is his BBC engine.
