Decoding a Firestone Wide Oval
 

Long ago someone posted instructions on how to decode the date info on Firestone tires.

Any help would be fantastic!

My brother works for Firestone, he took a look at some old pre-DOT Tire Markings the other day and said it looked like plant codes and or mold revision numbers. He said he would see if he could get an answer from &quot;The Gumdippers&quot; (retired plant engineers)
