Early Fram fuel filters

I saw that Dave has a Holley pump and Fram filter for sale. He made a point about the early filter having some feature differences compaired to the modern ones. I have a couple of the old ones, but have not had the chance to do a side by side comparison with a new one.
What are the diferences? Also, are the letter sizes on the decal "HPG-1" bigger, smaller or the same?
And on the early fuel pumps, anyone had a problem running modern fuels through them?

Thanks

Here is one of the differences. The early bottom bolt holding the filter housing on is concave/recessed in the middle while the new one has a flat face.

Early brackets were chrome plated very nicely well done -new ones sort of have a wrinkle chrome on them. It's not defective or shoddy but that is how they do them now for some purpose-kinda like hammertone but chrome.

There are also some minor differences in the cast housings.

Thanks for the info.
So there are no differences in the decal?
