1969 L72 Biscayne

I posted this over on the ss427 site, but for those who don't frequent, thought you might be interested.

Apparently it's an original Olympic Gold car and supposedly a real L72 car. That's probably one of my top color choices for the Biscayne, so an L72 at that. Wow.

What's everyone's take on the cost/value of these? On one hand, they're super rare and desireable to someone like me. However, on the other hand, I don't think most people really care abou them. Maybe I'm wrong on this.

I can't tell if $55K is an ok price for a documented car with incorrect wheels and paint or not. Again, they're easily fixable, but obviously further add to the cost.

If you're considering the one w/ docs and incorrect wheels, try him on at his Sept 2010 Hemmings ad price of 49,000 Obo..
Same seller had the car, maybe $ spent on it since but??
His email was noted as [email protected] ..

Man, I just love those cars! Whether it's an earlier 409 Biscayne or a later 427 Biscayne, there's just something about ordering up the absolute cheapest body style with the biggest, most radical engine on the order form! These cars were not built to impress chicks at the local cruisin' spot but were instead built to simply kick azz!
