It really does look nice. It will be a shame when when the car eventually gets paint. Hopefully the hood will remain &quot;as is&quot; and you can toss it on every now and then. Until then, it's nice to see you enjoying being able to rock the patina!

The current plan is to paint the stinger hood and leave the stock flat hood as is. The &quot;Penetrol&quot; is a wipe-on, like furniture polish. Immediate gratification. [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img]

Sometimes when the paint is that far gone it really pays to paint it. NOT restore that car but to just paint it. I am sure you guys would be happy you did. I love survivors and original paint but there ain't much paint left to survive. Still an original car in my eyes but may no longer be a survivor but only person that has to be happy is you guys! JMO
