If memory serves correct, it's 1 of 96 XR-7 ragtops with an automatic with the R-code CJ.

I always stop to look at the early Cougars when they appear on cruise nights. You just don't see them very often.

Your memory serves you well. There were another 31 4spds. These are great cars but have never really had much exposure. They drive much better than the Mustangs. Longer wheelbase and more weight I suppose.
