Question about 1969 COPO Camaro tires
 

Can anyone comment on the E70x15 tires that were OEM on 1969 COPOs with the Sportscar package. Were they only Goodyears? Jerry's book only shows Goodyears and I don't know of any other manufacturer that repros them. Any insight would be appreciated.

I contributed a few bits to his book and this may have been one of them. It is a bit misleading. I know of at least one Yenko Camaro that was built with Firestone Sport Car 200s. I saw the car [Rallye Green/black vinyl] at SC-Reading PA in 1983 and was curious enough to ask the owner about it. The car was a survivor and he confirmed those were the tires on it at delivery.
