Detroit in May?

I'm going to be in Detroit from May 19 to 26 with a free weekend May 22 and 23. Is there anything going on in the Detroit area that weekend, or anything big that weekend in the East / Midwest?

TIA
-Sam

Sam,

That's a little bit early for the bigger events, but there will be some cruise nights going on that weekend and some other places that I can recommend for you to visit. I will know more when it gets closer to May, so I'll PM you my phone numbers.

Sam,
If Mount Clemens has a cruise while you are in the Detroit area, look into getting up there. It is northeast of the city on the lake. The best one-night cruise I have ever attended.

Those boys from the Motor City REALLY know how to cruise.

Yeah, Mt. Clemens is the BEST! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif

There are cruisers there every Wednesday night (this was taken on a Wednesday), but the first BIG Saturday cruise is in June. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif
