L-78 heads
 

A friend of mine just picked up an X-66 69 Camaro.
What should be the casting number on the heads to check and see which heads are on the car ?

What HP engine is it?

Not sure. The seller stated that the motor was changed early in life, but that it retained the correct heads,intake and exhaust.

Most of the year, the L78 used 840 heads, but late cars could have had 291.
