Re: 396 Acadians
I can't confirm that there were any BB 69-70 Acadians. If there were, I would not expect any L78's. Reason I say that is that no L78's were put in A-Body Beaumonts or in any Canadian built Chevelles.
Now, mid 60's L79 Acadians are a different story https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...iggthumpup.gif |
Re: 396 Acadians
As far as I know there were no big block Acadians built. I believe there were only around 1500 or so big block Beaumonts built.

Re: 396 Acadians
It's generally accepted that no BB Acadians were built. Even though 1270 325HP L79 Chevy II's were built in 1968, and a few of them were sold new in Canada, there doesn't appear to have been any production of 1968 L79 Acadians.
In 1966, they were a total of 63 L79 Acadians built. Most of those were Canso Sport Deluxe models, but an L79 Acadian Canso Sport Coupe exists and an Invader L79 2 Door Sedan, so non SD L79 Acadians were also built. Bob |
