Musclecars in Colorado
Hello all, first post, and I thought I'd pass along some Craigslist finds here in Northern Colorado. 1.1968 GTO hidden headlight car red NOM. 2. 71 or 72 Gran Sport 455, bench seat/column shift car. Poster claims "Barn Find". 3. 1970 V-code Challenger, 440 Pistol grip, Six Pack is gone, red/black. Not the best computer guy so it'll prolly be easier for you to go to Fort Collins, Colorado Craigslist and just do a search. Thought you all would like to know. Later!! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ns/burnout.gif https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...ouguysrock.gif

Re: Musclecars in Colorado
I called the guy selling the V code Challenger last weekend. He still had it. However, NO fender tag(s), NO broadcast sheet(s), NO VIN stamped on the radiator support, NO VIN stamped on the rear trunk lip (mopar guys you know what I mean here), NO paperwork, NO VIN sticker at the door. NO nothing other than the VIN on the dash. NOT correct numbers engine, NOT the correct #'s transmission. So, you tell me, a real "V" code?
The more I talked and asked SPECIFIC questions the less he wanted to stay on the phone. I asked him to check a few things out and have NOT heard back. He shared that he has another V code car so I believe he KNOWS where I am going, but won't contribute any further. Now, don't mistake me here, I am not calling him a liar, or selling off what could be a fake, but if it were me I would really think twice before spending 26k for this car. By the time you were to get all the numbers correct you would be in it for much more, and when and if one would sell, most would be buyers would be just as concerned, or least I would hope so. Buyer beware. |
