A lot of you guys probably already have this, but for those that don't... enjoy. Check out the sleeper SS with the poverty caps in the background.

This car still exists. A friend of mine did some restoration work on it years ago.

It's cool that it still had the smog set up on it!

Does that spoiler look odd... like too narrow?

looks like a fiberglass deck lid with the spoiler molded into it

Yes, it's a fiberglass skinned decklid with molded in rear spoiler. It was offered by AMT Corporation's Speed & Custom Division out of Phoenix, AZ.

I noticed that the tie rods and center link are painted black, were were some painted from the factory?

That's not paint. The center link is forged and they were naturally black (or really dark blue) from the forging process. The tie rod ends were coated with some type of black rust preventative, but supposedly it wasn't really paint, at least that's what I was told. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif
I'm sure about the center link though.

Many of these parts had Cosmoline covering them when produced. Not really black but rather a dark brown coloring. I still use this today as well as BoeShield.
