Can anybody confirm what is the correct finish for original intake bolts/studs on a 70 L78/LS6, as well as, valve cover bolts and triangular washers. Phosphate.? Cad.? Thx in advance

I've always thought it was "strange" that a web site with members who own so many high dollar restored cars, has so little discussion on restoration methods and practices.

I have the Mang Phosphate Chemical from PALMETTO Ent and equip to do my own fastener, etc plating. If you've done any of this your self you know it can be quite time consuming.

Just asking what commercial shop you've dealt with that will correctly media blast and MANG PHOSPHATE (not ZINC) Plate a good amount of fasteners, shift linkage and misc other Camaro OEM brkts, etc.

What kind of price did you pay for a LOT of pcs ???

It was usually by weight.
