My latest find
Sold the '66 Cadillac and well onto the next one. Here is a nice treat, a European addition 350 SLC 1976 Mecedes Benz. Rides super nice. Plan on redoing the interior, carpet set, seat covers, fix two small cracks in the dash. Also, some minor paint work here and there. There are less of these in the states and the guys over in Europe are buying ours here up. The instruments are all in metric, which I think is cool.

Re: My latest find
I grew up driving a '71 Benz 250C, and man that thing hauled and handled with that straight 6 with dual carbs.
Very cool and underrated old cars. |
Re: My latest find
If anyone may know of someone interested in it let me know via PM. I will let it go for $4500 before I get into it, then I will price it out at $7500 once I am done doing what I mentioned above.

Re: My latest find
No offense, but I think this should get bumped to the Cars For sale forum.
It could benefit you better. |
Re: My latest find
the problem is that it is not a "super car". So where to share it? Other Muscle I would presume.

She did not know the history so that is all I know. I have been running it around town and really enjoy it but have decided to sell it to help pay for my '66 Mustang Convertible interior conversion. I just listed it on Ebay and will take $4500 or what ever more I can get. Here is the listing http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...#ht_7119wt_1071 Ya, C107 but in metric! A real euro car. It is pretty cool. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |

The Mercedes Car Dealer can see the History of the Car with the VIN. So you can see what kind of Repairs the Car has got and you can see all special Options... Maybe this puts your price a little bit higher. A clean Maintenance book is also important. And a original Car are better selling than a tuned Car! (At least in these Car Categroies...) Re: My latest find
Greetz,
That translator will be helpful. Thanks. I was thinking about keeping it but it will need a new paint job and interior and I would hate to be upside down on it. It is a good looking, fun Mercedes car to drive though. It handles real well. Very nice for a 1976. Must be that good German engineering! Just curious as to what the value might be there where you are? In US Dollars. |
