Window/Door Handle Delete

Was there ever any GM C-Clip style window or door handle delete pieces supplied as factory equipment on any model?.
Basically it'd be just the base of the handle for a window or door w/ the C-Cip mounting to attach to the protruding spline piece of the regulator or handle assy. but totally round w/ no extending handle?.

That's exactly what I want them for but was wondering if there's anything I can hope to find a pair of from?.
My Biscayne rear glass is fixed by the regulator having stops in them and the splined stem is poking out the interior panel hole but I don't even know if they ever made delete pieces...anyone ever seen any?.

I recall seeing something like this on a ford police car circa 1977 as I was sitting in the back waiting to get my ticket for having a Radar detector. It was definitely a Ford. The piece was cone shapped and had no attaching screws.
