I believe there is an OO Butternut Yellow Copo sitting in a garage in Ohio

Perhaps Bruce (Xplantdad) can make that feature post happen. That and maybe add some additional pics which I'm sure we'd all love to see Bergy. Great job of pushing through to get it done in time for MCACN. The first thing I did when I realized it was your car was look back to see the date (May 24th) where you added the pics of the painted shell. That right there told me how hard you and the Sportscar Center must have worked to finish it all in time for Chicago.
Well done Bruce. Well done! |
Hey Bruce Just send a bunch of pictures and a write up to me and I can put something together...:headbang:

Still not sure how I missed this car at the show ?? being a local car with Lancaster county & York history and The Sports Car Center is only a few miles up the road from me. Hope to get a chance see it sometime.

The second owner and his son (Rick and Ryan Sweater) stopped by today to look at his old butternut yellow copo. He bought it in 1972 at a local Ford dealership where the OO traded it in. Rick shared lots of great memories and interesting stories about racing the car on the streets and track. Today was the first time that he saw it painted yellow since he sold it in 1975. The guy that Rick sold it to repainted it RG - it remained RG until I bought it.
