'66 Hemi Satellite
Very classy look with the white-on-gold color combo.
Judging by the apparently quality of the restoration, I don't think the seller is making any money on the $75k buy-it-now price. It's a beauty. Love the tailpipes.

Love the color combo too. Guessing not original drivetrain per the description.

Love it!
I can't believe he went through all that work, even added AC, and left it with armstrong steering and Flintstone brakes. |
Did I miss something? I don't see where he installed A/C.
Not that I am a buyer; but if I were looking for something like this, I would want to know if the car being "dipped" refers to a chemical dip to strip the old paint. If so, tread lightly. It is almost impossible to remove and or neutralize all of that stuff. Starts creeping out of pinch welds and other welded joints. On the other hand, if it were dipped in primer; not bad. |

I have seen soda blasting done in person, and while it does generate dust, it would seem to me that this would be the better way to strip paint. However, I do understand that it will not remove rust. |
I’ve had several cars dip/stripped removing paint and rust. Never, ever once had any issues and one of the cars I’ve done (15yrs later) hasn’t shown any issues of anything. I’d use it again if there’s a place here in Ft. Worth that does it! Just my opinion.
Love these 66/67 body styles with the Hemi. That’s a lot if motor in that car. Best deal in factory Hemi cars. Cheers Dave |
