Harrison Radiator ID

11 Attachment(s)
I was wondering if anyone could help ID this radiator. It is a an original Harrison unit and has a 4 row core. It has pretty thick paint on it but I can make out a ZV code on one of the tanks. It came out of a 1967 Camaro racecar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jason

Looks like A Z with a 2 between the letters to me.
Not a 1st Gen Camaro

Look @ the angle of the filler neck..that's 1972 & up.

Thanks guys. I knew it was not original to the Camaro. Maybe 2nd gen Camaro. It is pretty beat up but I can't bring myself to throw out an original Harrison heavy duty radiator.

there is a K above the 2... it's for an EARLY 1973 model.
K = November
2 - year manufactured

My brother's 1973 Z28 built in Jan has a L2 radiator.

Wasn't K October? Pretty sure I've seen 'M'-dated rads, but maybe it changed in the 1970's?

I did not see one but can look more closely. I already have it up for auction on Ebay if you are interested.

I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I have been out of town and this is the firt chance I had to look for a code on the other tank. I looked and felt it over and do not see any stampings on it. If you can tell me where on the tank it may be, I can give it an even closer look. All the bubbly paint on the tank makes it hard see anything. If you do have interest, the auction for the tank ends tonight. Here is a link:

I'm sorry I could not be more helpful with the code. I'm still not sure what this fits. Maybe second gen F Body?

Thanks,

Jason

I did not know that. Were earlier tanks more vertical? Did we ever figure out the original application for the "AZ" tanks? I believe I have one of these in our Chevelle and I never knew exactly what it was from.
