Bock Dragstar trailer information
I have a vintage bock dragstar trailer I acquired. Looking for anyone who owns one and information about them. Thinking of selling it. But have no idea of any information or intrests in by someone.

I bought a new one in 1975, can't help you with info other than they were/are? built in Elkart Indiana.
Actually, noted Pontiac NHRA/AHRA stock racer Jerry Stealy and I picked up two of them stacked and towed home with Jerry's new motor home. Got a tour of the facility while we were there. Great no compromise trailer for it's time. - Bill W I have a pic but can't lay hands on it at this time?? |
Bull Moose Tube Company bought Bock Industries in the early 90's. Bock produced steel tube and also had an engineering division that built different types of trailers and other things with the tube they produced. I never knew they built dragster trailers. Bull Moose only bought the tube making division and that is still going strong. I don't believe the Bock engineering division lasted very long on its own. There are a number of other companies in the area now that produce racecar trailers.

Pete Russell was the local Elkhart retail sales rep/distributor for Bock Trailers. As far as I know, he's still living in the Elkhart area. Pete was a stock class drag racer. The base of operations was his speed shop on Franklin Ave.
