Mind Blowing Lineup of MCACN Premier Unveilings!

I know, I know...more hype about the upcoming Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show!

I am here to say we are geared up and ready to make up for the "lost" year in so many ways. Of course, many of us look forward to Saturday morning when we roll through our Premier Unveilings, and this year is, quite honestly, mind blowing.

Allow me to share what is scheduled to be Officially Unveiled this year, kicking off promptly at 9:30 am, Saturday November 20, 2021;

1967 Yenko 427 Camaro, This is where it all started! It is believed that Don Yenko built just 54 Yenko 427 Super Camaros in ’67 and this is the very first, Number YS601. Now that is something really special. Owner: Phil Mitchell, WA. Restored by Level One Restorations, CO.

1967 Pontiac GTO HO: In ’67 any GTO was neat but checking the box for the HO engine option made it even better. This is one of the most desirable ’67 GTO’s you will ever see. Owner: Joe & Jill Iuorio, N.J. Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor American Muscle Car Restorations, Inc. R.I.

1968 Shelby GT500KR: At the top of the food chain for Shelby American in ‘68 is the GT500KR. KR means King of the Road and this 428 powered beast is splendid in Acapulco Blue. Owner: Pete Wojtowicz, IN. Restored by Gary Gilbert, IN.

1968 Dodge Coronet R/T: What could make a ’68 426 Hemi Coronet even better? Seeing one in AA1 Buffed Silver metallic! This may well be another one-off Hemi car. Owner: Darryl Wischnewsky, TX. Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor Apex Autosport, WI.

1968 Pontiac Firebird Ram Air II: In ’68, very few were aware of the hot Ram Air II option, considered one of Pontiacs hottest performance engines. This is one of them! Owner: Phil Mitchell, WA. Restored by Level One Restorations, CO.

1969 Dodge Coronet R/T Convertible: This car is among the absolute rarest Mopar 426 Hemi cars ever built. Rarer than even a ’71 Hemi ‘cuda convertible, just 4 were built with the 4-speed manual transmission. Owner: Brad Lovering, ID. Restored by Level One Restorations, CO.

1969 Oldsmobile W31 Convertible: Thought to be long gone, this is one of the original Smothers Brothers Drag Cars. Acquired recently from the long term owner/racer, this is a true piece of drag race and muscle car history. Owner: Jeff Kane, DE, Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor Garner Restorations, Inc. FL.

1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302: Very few know that Ford actually built an all-black Boss 302. We are honored to be able to put the spotlight on this true “one of one” Boss 302, restored to perfection. Owner: The Brothers Collection, U.S.A. Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor MASCAR Classics, CA.

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T: A prime example of what a first year Challenger R/T is all about. This may be the ultimate example of a Mopar Muscle Pont Car. Owner: Robert Conca, N.Y. Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor American Muscle Car Restorations, Inc. R.I.

1970 Oldsmobile 442 W30’s: TWIN UNVEILING! You will see a matching pair that you previously saw in our Barn Finds & Hidden Gems area in 2019. Convertible Owner: Greg Lowe, N.J., Hardtop Owner: Ron Novitski, IN. Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor Miler Auto Care and Stock Restorations and Resto-Mods, IN.

1970 Buick G.S. Stage 1 Convertible: Somebody checked all the right boxes on the order sheet for this one! This Tealmist Grey Stage 1, 455 G.S. is backed by a 4-speed manual transmission making this among the rarest and most desirable Buick muscle machines ever built. Owner: Mike Sobotka, ID. Restored by Antique Automotive Services, MO.

1970 Pontiac GTO Judge: The ’70 Judge may be the most recognized and iconic Muscle Car for the 1970 model year. This is a prime example of what it was all about. Owner: Martie Dick, Alberta, Canada, Restored by Level One Restorations, CO.

1970 Plymouth Superbird: Corporate Blue, aka “Petty” Blue may be the ultimate color for the Superbird, and this is one of just a handful built. Owner: Steve Vance, MO. Restored by Iron Stable Garage, FL.

1970 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air IV: The totally redesigned ’70 Firebirds took the world by storm, but only 59 people checked the box for the Ram Air IV engine option. This is one of them! Owner: Jurgen Stanley, N.C., Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor, Apex Autosport, WI.

1970 Pontiac GTO, “The Humbler”. Yes indeed, this is the actual car used in the famous television commercial, another truly “one-off” early production car unlike any other. Owner: Phil Mitchell, WA. Restored by Level One Restorations, CO.

1970 Plymouth GTX: If you think you need to hire a big shop to do a premium Concours restoration, take a close look at this incredible and exceptionally unusual Mopar. Owner: Opie Stark, MI. Restored by Opie Stark, MI.

1970 Dodge Challenger R/T: A mere 287 426 Hemi Challenger R/T’s were built in 1970. It is possible that this may be the only one that is BL1 Beige. Owner: Gerald Otterbein, PA, Restored by Carolina Classics Auto Restorations, N.C.

1970 Buick GSX: When Buick introduced the GSX, they certainly made a bold and unexpected statement. This Saturn Yellow “X” is certainly one of the most eye catching, and iconic Buick’s ever built. Owner: Brad McAdam, N.Y. Restored by Ultra Fine Finishing, N.Y.

1970 Oldsmobile 442 W30: When it comes to Oldsmobile Muscle, what could be better than a 442 with the 455 W30 option backed by a 4-speed manual transmission? This beautiful Aegean Aqua beauty represents the epitome of Dr. Oldsmobiles finest. Owner: Chris Doering, MO. Restored by Jim Novelli, MO.

1970 Pontiac GTO 455 HO: While the Judge may have grabbed more attention, those in the know chose the HO 455 and in this case, a classier and certainly more subtle presentation. You may never see another GTO like this one. Owner: Paul Bourbeau, MA. Restored by Bourbeau Restorations, MA.

1970 & 1971 Buick GSX’s TWIN UNVEILING: What could be better than Unveiling a Buick GSX? Pulling the covers off TWO of them, side by side! 1970 Owner: Gordon Martin, WI. 1971 Owner: Bob Schroeder, MN. Both Restored by AutoKraft, WI.

1971 Plymouth ‘cuda: While a majority of our Premier Unveilings are factory stock restored cars, this one is a truly over-the-top with an all-aluminum 572 Hemi under the hood and countless modifications. Owners: Jeff & Christine Slocum, IN. Restored by MCACN Official Sponsor, The Finer Details, IN.

1977 Pontiac Firebird Bandit Trans Am: I can assure you; you are not likely to see a finer restoration of a mid 70’s era Trans Am. The quality of restoration and attention to detail is unsurpassed. Owner: John Prenzo, AZ. Restored by Quality Restorations, AZ.

How's that for an impressive and balanced lineup; Whew!

Damn impressive

That 1969 Cutlass S Convertible W31 4 speed Smothers Brothers/Jim Waibel drag car is in my opinion the coolest Oldmsobile in existence!!!

I have been trying to help out during the restoration here and there, and I remember clearly recommending Garner and they do not disappoint!!!

And here is another "factoid" about the 2021 MCACN show.

While we have 25 Official Unveilings scheduled, we have over 100 additional cars that are being shown for the very first time. Since the Unveils remain covered until their designated time, we had to cut it off since we didn't want to have a large portion of the cars covered for too long! Official Unveilings will go from 9:15-1:15, non stop every 15 minutes. Several are "double" Unveils.
