Crashed his Frank Iacono vintage dragster today and was killed. I first read him in Rod & Custom over 50 years ago and always loved the term "Vintage Tin National Park" for the old junkyards they came across back then. He also wrote great stuff for The Rodder's Journal. RIP "Too Tall."

Sounds like he was doing what he loved most.

RIP

Shame, he spent a few minutes with us at the "Antique Nationals"
just a few months ago>

Agreed, and his "Lost Hot Rods" books. Such incredible knowledge, now lost. :frown::frown:

Sad news. Never met him but always enjoyed his writing. Came across this, found it interesting: https://patganahl.com/
