To carry on from the 1966 question, what have you got for the other years of the muscle car era for the following years and any oddball years that you'd love to have ordered back then.

I guess I'm pretty predictable as mine are:

1967 Chevelle SS396 L78 in Red/Black, 4 spd, black vinyl roof, or a dealer-built SS427 in the same.
1968 Chevelle SS396 L78 in Red/black again, 4 spd, black vinyl roof, rolling tach, bucket seats, etc.

1969 & 1970 are much harder for me, but I think the following:

1969 Camaro SS396 L78 in Lemans Blue/black, 4 spd, bucket seats, etc.
1970 Chevelle SS396 Black/Black, no stripes, 4 spd.

Wow, you opened a huge can of worms now, Mark. This thread could rival Lee's "You can't make this up"...

I'd just wait til '73 or '74 and buy em all used as mint survivors during the gas crunch :)

By '74, many of the muscle cars were already worn out, trashed, crashed and abused. Most of them were also daily drivers with high miles. 3 car attached garages were a thing of the future, most were parked outside in the weather. Cars in the rust belt states were already well underway to disintegrating after only 5 years of salt roads in the winter. There were some that had privileged lives with limited miles and good care, but they were few and far between.

How about a red, white and blue 1970 Trans Am. I had this car back in 2008 and it was a blast.

How about a Capri Cream 1967 Chevelle SS396 with black vinyl top, gold interior, buckets, console, gauges, M21, power disc brakes, and the almighty L78?

I couldn't narrow it down to one for each year for 69-71 so I went for one from each of the big three. For 69 I'd take a orange RS COPO Camaro, a yellow Boss 302 Eliminator and a bright green A12 Super Bee. For 70 I'd take a shadow gray LS6 Chevelle, a black 429SCJ Torino Cobra and a black Coronet RT 440/6. For 71 I'd want a lucy blue Trans Am, a grabber blue Boss 351 Mustang and an orange 340 Cuda with a shaker hood and billboard stripes. All 4 speeds of course.
