Ebay seller openly endorsing fraud (SS Chevelle)

I don't post much here, but I just ran across this auction. This guy is offering to sell the cowl tag, VIN code, and title from a 66 138 Chevelle for the purpose of forging a car. I may bleed Mopar orange, but I appreciate all American muscle, and I hate criminals like this guy. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/mad.gif I suggest that y'all let him know what you think. I already did.

I don't know what the laws are like in Michigan, but in New York State that spells FELONY!
In 1985, I was selling a 1970 SS396 Chevelle that needed a complete restoration and I had a guy look at the car and offered me money just for the Cowl Tag and the VIN Plate. I was only 18 years old then and knew even then that I could get arrested for doing that. The car ended up getting sold to the next guy who looked at it.
Some people take risks...

Man, this retard is a class act. Look at his other auction's title. He pasted this line of crap on the other auction about twenty minutes after I informed him that fraud is illegal:

[ QUOTE ]
this auction is for whole car, what you do with the parts after it is sold to you is not my problem, or do i care what parts you use on what car. there is an error in the listing- i can not mail tags and title legally, you must come get whole car with in 10 days, unless we make other arangements at end of auction. notice that this auction is for a whole car for sale and this is where it is listed, it is a whole car for sale with title

[/ QUOTE ]

I really hope there is a special place in Hell for criminals like this guy.

It was almost like his "ears were ringing"! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/haha.gif
He added two comments to the auction, now stating that he will only sell the entire car, not just the Cowl Tag and the VIN Tag.

Wow, it seems like it takes a lot for ebay to get active in monitoring their auctions. I guess if you spell it out in print that you plan to do something illegal they will step in. Now I want to see them get involved with all of the people trying to sell cars they don't really own!
