Sometimes I wish I had a front bumper on my 67, to mount a pair on !

They are asking $250.00 for them. Is that a fair price to pay?

Congrats, that was a fair price IMO. As I mentioned to you in my IM, a good set was $100-125 a few years ago but prices seem to have shot up, at least on a national market like Ebay.
