Heinrich Chevrolet Rochester NY
Does anyone know anything about Heinrich Chevrolet Rochester NY. I know they sponsored Gary Morgan in a 1963 Z06 corvette and later a 67 z28 in trans am racing but cannot find much about the dealership itself. I know there is a Heinrich Chevrolet currently in Lockport NY don't know if there related or not I emailed them already no response yet.

Unless you have already, check in w/ member mssl72 Mark as he has some association w/ Heinrick Rochester too. The Morgan Z-06 and Z-28 #17 Trans-Am are both so cool, such an awesome era to have been a Chevy Dealer! :beers: ~ Pete . |

Is this Gary Morgan's '67 124377N163228 w/ '68 updates or an actual '68/different car? :beers: ~ Pete . |

Thanks Pete for the replies great information. Our 1962 corvette original fuel injection car sold there new trying to track down original owner of the car and more info on the dealership.

NASBLU, My 1967 Corvette came from Heinrich Motors in Rochester also. I have tried to find some information on this dealership on the Corvette forums but have come up with nothing. Please share any information you have.

Not a problem. Ill will let you know if I find out anything. It seems as though they were really into hi performance chevys. I know there is a tuxedo black 1970 SS Chevelle LS6 M22 convertible in the LS6 registry that sold there new. I have found other hi performance chevys as well.

Searching Heinrich Motors or Chevyland seems to yield more results than Heinrich Chevrolet. :beers: ~ Pete . |

Pete you found a lot of good ads from them. I have never been able to find anything. I think the dealership building is gone now.

Again, I found most searching Heinrich Motors or Chevyland as there's fewer Heinrich Chevrolet ads also little 66/67 era 'Vette stuff other than ad above. Building below is a blown-up pic from the Wagon Sale ad, looks like a giant Delco battery on the Service building wall? :beers: ~ Pete . |

Here is a window sticker from a 1967 Corvette I owned from Heinrich Motors. This car also had the leather Key Fob that said "Save a weeks pay at Heinrich Chevrolet".
|
Tim G sure would have been nice if it was from my 67 corvette coupe. I am told the original owner of mine was a school principle in the Rochester area .

Cool to see there's GMP models of Morgan's Heinrich sponsored '67 Z-28 Trans-Am car! Here's a link to a Heinrich delivered Tuxedo Black Top Flight '65 Vette Roadster. http://vintagecorvettes.com/1965tuxedoblack.html :beers: ~ Pete . |
You all posted some really good information on Heinrich Chevy. They must have had a good connection with GM high performance. My 67 Corvette was built on the 1st day of production S/N 19 . I would guess you would have to be a good high perf. dealer to get one of the first Corvettes. Please keep posting if you find out anything, Thanks Danny

A recently acquired Heinrich item. I was told it was NOS and it really appears to be. The tape on the back has never been used.

Heinrich Chevrolet
I grew up in Rochester and bought many high-performance parts there, Hoseiton Chevrolet sponsored Warren Agor in the Trans Am series in the day.I own a L-72 1968 Biscayne bought new at Hallmans Chevrolet and they also had many high-performance vehicles and sponsored a 70 Camaro in M/P. And finally Taylor Chevrolet was the place of purchase of the L-72 1969 Kingswood wagon in the GM heritage collection.
