That's a beautiful example, so rare to see them with the original E60 Polyglas tires. Usually long replaced by the F60s.

Pet peeve: if you bought the car it isn't an "original owner car". You're the second owner. It is no longer a one-owner car. I wish people would stop saying that, it's mis-leading. Don't care if it is still "in his name", money changed hands, bill of sale was signed. Car is now the second owners' vehicle.

The Cuda is super cool,
But I would rather find a 1 owner F-4 Phantom from 1970.

Agree on both above. So so hard to find those tires now. And I too thought it was stupid to call this a one owner car, it's not.

I see why Mike is doing it but most insurance company's won't payout if you don't title a car into your name.

Are you sure about that? The Bill of Sale, a legal document, signed by the Buyer and Seller, transfers ownership of the vehicle.

Here is a 1968 hemi Cuda still titled in the original owners name that has always been sold on a bill of sale. Buddy Martin was the 2nd owner.

So - sidebar:

What do you call a car that the son of the original owner (now deceased) has?

"Original family owned"? Original owner's son owned"?

All of the verbiage is a bit clunky.

Asking for a friend ;)
