69 H/O 442 questions
By chance, does anyone know anything about the 69 Hurst Olds, VIN 344879M353459 that is for sale at Ray Skillman Classics in Greenwood Indiana? Real? Fake? Docs information? Previous owners? Actual value?
A friend of mine just told me he is interested in it but knows little about the specifics of buying such a car. I don't know squat about Oldsmobiles and what's legit or not. To me, at a glance, paint, engine and interior look nice but the undercarriage looks a little half ass for 100K. I told my buddy that right now is a tough time to get a deal on a classic and that I'd ask for some thoughts from the folks on this forum. Thanks in advance. John. |
Best guy to contact is Kurt Karch, he is not on here but you can find him on FB. He helps with 69 HO inspections at Vintage Certification.

Yup Kurt Karch is the best person to contact.
Good guy too, always races at PSMCDR!! He has specific info on cars, like the ZL1 VIN list but for 1969 H/O's. Ryan W31. |

This is what Kurt said:
That is a documented real one...Calvin and Trevor Badgley, who have raced the past few years at Stanton, restored it for a customer about 20 years ago. I do remember that it was a non a/c car and that was added during resto...it has changed hands quite a bit the past 5 years.... |
