'70 Chevelle L78 Convertible, Nice, $$$

Very nice car with the rarely seen auto trans.

Interesting that the owner decided to have this car restored with chambered exhaust.

----It sounds a lot like it's not the original engine, but he didn't actually say that. A real beauty though! When I restored my 70 LS5 convert way back in the late 70's I also ran Chambered exhaust.....Bill S

I put chambered exhaust on the 70 Monte that Jason restored. Sounds so good, even with stock manifolds.

If it had the ORIGINAL drivetrain. Trust me. The ad would not make it vague with words like correct and dated and etc. Why not just say. Non Original. SMH

BEAUTIFUL car, no doubt. Ambitious price without original in my opinion

----Agreed, Mike!....Bill S

This car has been for sale for a while. I wonder how someone came up with the claim that there are only 8 known 1970 L-78 convertibles. I I recall, a while ago a green auto that was an ex-race car with NOM but known history sold a BJ. I wonder if this could be the same car, but returned to stock condition.

I found the BJ sale-it was quite a few years ago, 2014 to be precise. Same car?

----Decals are cheap, and maybe the car was brought up to LS6 specs. I noticed power windows on both cars (rare) but then realized that one had a white gut and the other black. The tag would help but there's no picture of it or the serial #......Bill S
