New 1969 Yenko cars??

I don't know if anyone has talked about this on this website yet, but the Brandnewmusclecars website is selling officially Yenko licensed 1967, '68, '69, and '70 Yenko cars. I'm just wondering how this new genre of "old" cars will affect the existence of our original "real" Yenkos.. It looks like the prices start at $219k, here's the website:

Disclaimer, I'm not affiliated with the Brand new cars website at all, I'm just kind of against it because now everyone that owns a "new" old Yenko will be claiming that it's a real and original Yenko... It will just add to to confusion by saturating the super rare original Yenko population with "new" "old" Yenkos...

IMO - these cars will just be like continuation Cobras. The market is stratified into real vs continuation vs clones. Most real cars don’t get out much any more. So the presence of continuation and clone cars keeps the public aware of the brand and enhances the value of real cars. JMHO

I agree, but just last year I saw a continuation Cobra with unknowing people gathered around it at a car show and the license plate said "real cobra". So, as with the Cobra, I think these "new" old Yenkos will muddy the line between what's actually real and what's a copy of what was original.

Guess I should raise the price on my COPO since it's brand new and real.:dunno:
