“‘53”? :confused2:
|
Looks like a 57 Pontiac?
"Road teast" instead of Road test. Guessing made in India. The "reproduction" metal/porcelain signs are flooding the market. Some disclosed; some not. Blatant fakes, aged with bullet holes and rust. |
we have local auctions around here with these india signs and they are bringing stupid $$$
|
Doubt the originals actually said "Made in USA". Back then, where else would it have been made?

This guy doesn't even hide the fact he is in India!!! |
here is some feedback from seller of the oOLD USED signs
I sent an email and did not get a response so I am forced to leave a review. The description of the sign says “original old sign from my collection”. These signs are not old or from any collection. They are nice but they are 100% modern reproductions. Do not buy if you expect an antique. The description of the signs are deceptive. It seems it is a fine line they walk to try and maximize profit at unsuspecting customers expense |
