1 Attachment(s)
Can anyone tell me what this cam is?
thanks |
I didn't think this would be that hard. Any one know what manufacture uses those number?
Is it a Comp Cams Hydraulic 284 Dur. ? I've run that cam in the past and that looks familiar
Could be a Comp 284 Solid cam, specs:
Mechanical Flat Tappet - Lift 0.597 / 0.606 in - Duration 284 / 293 , 258/264 @ .050"- 107 LSA - 3300 / 7300 RPM This would be a little much for the street. |
Isky used to number cams in a similar way also..might check there.
stock class at a local circle track the popular cam was an Isky 280H,which was hyd and about 500 lift. its worth a shot. |
Do you have a shortblock to throw it in? I would degree it just to be safe.
I think I am going to put it in the metal dumpster. Too many thoughts on what is could be, so it will be scrap. LOL
Is it new? Can you put it in the Tony pile? A friend of mine has a Cam Doctor...I can run it for you.
It is not new, but it is in nice shape and I do have the lifters also. And yes I kept the lifter is the correct order.
DEFINITELY A General Kinetics Cam logo
