Wow, I’ve never seen one spec’d so “muscle-y” or this well preserved.

Interesting. That might be one to watch, bidding is low and slow so far. Seems like a gentleman's GTO.
I bought a '73 LeMans in about 1976 for the wife to drive. High mileage but came with a 90 day drivetrain warranty. 40 days later the dealer towed it in and rebuilt the transmission that failed. 5 months later, the wife got tangled up in a multi vehicle crash on an icy bridge and both ends got tagged fairly good. I let the insurance company take it and I bought a 1972 Monte Carlo. |
whats cool was to see the 400 4 barrel a $46 option and the 4 speed a credit for the same $46.

I missed the paperwork the first time thru and didn't see that. The 400 was standard with the 2bbl and the up charge was for the 4bbl. I wonder if there were other changes inside the engine with the 4 bbl ? Getting the same amount as a credit for the 4 speed makes that upgrade a fun, "no brainer"..
The bids have picked up quickly and it should bring a nice premium for the seller. |
