Just dashes

Looking for some input on the quality of just dashes. I’ve got some c3 corvette door panels I’d like to consider having restored. I’m curious how close to factory do they come out and is it worth the effort?

Thanks in advance!

I had them do a 70 Judge Conv dash 20 years ago, still looks like it did when it arrived back from them IMHO looks as good as a NOS dash pad.
The dash is the same process as the door panels, vacuum form heated vinyl over the base using a blanket vacuum table.
I certainly had no issues with the product they supplied - it is gorgeous.
FWIW I believe Al Knoch does door panels as well.

They seem to be the best in the business, but pricey and extremely slow especially during covid.

Based on my recollection of C3 door panels, you should be OK.
If there any "details" such as small beading or fake stitching they can't recreate those. An example are the early second gen Camaro Deluxe door panels that have a fake stitching. Since it is just a solid sheet of vinyl vacuum formed, fine details can't be re-produced and even larger features will tend to be washed out as the vacuum forming process tends to bridge over things rather than pull down really tight to the mold. Hard to explain but hopefully I've made my point. They are totally honest about this so just ask.
