Interesting '69 Malibu, Orig 307/4-speed/Buckets/etc
Cool car - and I'm pretty confident this one crossed the block a few years ago for around $20k. Not a lot of unmolested SB 4-speed cars left.
Sold new at Brooklyn Chevrolet in Cleveland. Link to 1969 4-Speed Malibu eBay auction https://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTIwMFgxN..._id=880000500F https://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxM..._id=880000500F 136379B367002 |
Might just be the lighting in that picture, but it sure doesn't look like Frost green to me. The other pictures in the ad don't help either. Nice car nonetheless.

The wheels look to be Frost green, not the car.

----Being a 307 what transmission would it have come with? Aha!,,,I bothered to read the description......Bill S

"survivor, time capsule" only ONE repaint, years ago and as has been pointed out, not really the correct color.
The buckets and 4 speed do add to the fun and coolness, but 45k worth ?? |

How strange is it that the OO chose to put 350 fender emblems on a car with a 307? Back in the day, we were doing just the opposite, trying to downplay the engine size  |
Interesting car. A little steep on the price for a 307 car, but does appear to be in relatively decent shape. My 69 Camaro (307/glide car) was sold new at this dealership. OO of the Camaro (Justine S.) was only a few blocks away from the dealership.
Many years back, I pulled a ton of parts off a 307/3speed Malibu that was sold new at this dealership. The wrecking yard was literally across the street from Brooklyn Chevrolet. New to dismantle in this case. Car still had the smog system on it. |
