'71 In-Violet 383/4-sp Road Runner

Nice looking rotisserie resto with a $63k price tag. My co-worker asked me about this car and what a fair price might be. I told him $40-50k (with the caveat that I wasn't very knowledgeable on early Mopar values) just based on what similar quality '68-70 Runners are going for, and haircutting those values due to less desirability of the '71-'74 models. I'd be curious what you guys think.

Not everyone’s cup of tea, but I have always like the front end on these

The drivetrain is a very rare combination all by itself: a factory big block, 4-speed with A/C. Not even mentioning the rare FC7 In-Violet color. And it looks like it was nicely done.

That is one body style that time and nostalgia have not changed my mind on. Never could warm up to it.

To me, this body style is a love it or hate it deal and I do like it. A friend in HS had a 383 auto and it was a cool car.

In today's crazy market, I think your $50k estimate would be the I gotta have that car number...IMO.

A local guy Mike Sparks had a 71 Hemi Road Runner. Very strong runner, but then Hemis always were.

Nice

Nice looking ride, seems to be well done . GLWS. Back in my day there were a lot of 383 Road Runners around, good running cars with headers and set of gears.
