Bracket Identification

7 Attachment(s)
Can anyone ID these 2 brackets and their applications? They both look like alternator brackets. The black bracket would be passenger side mounted and the cast bracket would be drivers side mounted. No part numbers. I got these in with a big lot of GM/Chevy brackets. I have searched the web with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks, Mark

My guess... They look like alternator brackets, drivers side for 396-427. Maybe Impala or Chevelle...

IMO - The cast bracket looks like a smog pump mounting bracket for 68-79 Corvette. or maybe big chevrolet passenger car. Or maybe a AC compressor mounting bracket??

Respectfully I don't think its a alternator bracket as usually they have 2 mounting holes in front and 1 on the side to bolt into the cylinder head.

The black bracket is 1986 Camaro TPI non serpentine alternator bracket.

Thanks for the info!
So on the black bracket, is that 1986 only or would it be for 85-87 TPI Camaro's?
The cast bracket ear spacing fits an alternator perfectly but it doesn't have the slide bushing like alternator brackets do, so you might be right about it being for something else. I was hoping it had a part number on it, that's why I blasted it.
