Hey Super Dave...glad all is going well. Can't wait for more updates.

Holly says hi, too!!

big gear head 06-07-2021 01:31 AM

Thanks for the update. I was hoping that nothing serious had happened. Wasn't there a Hemi car that was mentioned a few times in the past?

Charley Lillard 06-07-2021 01:33 AM

No !!!!!!!!!

Thanks, guys! Yes, there was a 67 Hemi Super Stock project in the works and still might be depending on my schedule of buildification.:hmmm: I have yet another project brewing too, but it’s not automotive related. I think I’m set for the time being on projects!

Just teasing you, Charley. We all know the 507 is the ultimate Bob Ashton mobile!:cool2: Speaking of the 507, I found one real steel wheel for it too!

I appreciate you guys watching. More updates soon with not so many “and so” and “uhs” in the next video!:rolleyes2:

Cheers:beers:
Dave

Great video Dave, thanks for the update.

TimG 06-07-2021 04:38 PM

Glad you're back in the swing of things, Dave.

A12pilot 06-08-2021 10:25 AM

:youguysrock: Thanks guys! I appreciate you all watching. I figured an update was needed and can’t wait to get more stuff done over the next few months.

Looking forward to getting into the new house! We have drywall repair, paint, carpet, and granite all going in this and next week. After that, all the 1994 carpet in the house including bathrooms…..yes, bathrooms….:rolleyes2: ….with imbedded dog, cat, and feet smell will be ripped out The new shop is 1000sq ft and is expandable to another 1500 if I need it via an attached RV port. I’d have to pour concrete and get that all situated, but the structure is there and it would be perfect for a paint booth and body shop! So much potential!!

Cheers:beers:
Dave

Always enjoy your posts Dave and I really liked the video.

Next time expand on the world domination topic as I suspect we will have some common thoughts. I would like to cast the first vote that Charley runs the world for us piston heads....lol. Are ya up for it Charley??????

I thought there was also a pick up truck project somewhere as well but I could be wrong?

Good luck with all of the builds, both inside and outside your new place and keep us tuned.

Thanks,

Paul

Anyone heard from Dave lately?

Billohio 08-30-2021 05:41 PM

Looks like 2 months since hes been on. How can we continue??

tom406 08-30-2021 09:59 PM

I miss him too, but I always knew eventually he was going to have to get some sleep.....

Hope all is well with him.

TOM

Too Many Projects 08-31-2021 01:18 AM

I doubt he's been sleeping with moving.
We moved 2 years ago, after accumulating for 19 years at the previous house, and what a nightmare.
The next time I move, it's going to be 6 ft down.
C'mon Dave, take 5 and give a shout.

mssl72 08-31-2021 05:34 AM

Yeah, I'm sure he's been busy moving 'n stuff. Last I heard he finished the Beemer 507 while it was being transported and had it sold before it was unloaded. Then he located and recovered Thomas Poulters Snow Cruiser from an iceberg off the coast of Antarctica and is halfway though it's restoration. I think he's planning on doing a cross country trek with it. He's also trying to locate the remains of the aircraft the snow cruiser carried on its back. You know, the usual Super Dave stuff. :smirk:

A12pilot 08-31-2021 11:10 AM

Me here!! Sorry gang, and yeah, what Mark said!:hmmm: OK well, sorta. But he's halfway true in that in addition to two bathrooms being remodeled, I transformed my wife's barn from an oversized chicken coop to another Anheuser Busch style stables, poured two concrete pads with one being an extension on my shop (meaning, paint booth!) and on top of that, redid the whole shop which will be painted Wednesday! The kitchen is the last thing.

There's been a void in my life of no cars and no Yenko.net for months and I'm not happy about that. Matter of fact the other day during my welcome aboard speech I blurted out "Welcome aboard ladies and gentlemen. I have some information about your flight today that is like to pass along to you. But first, did you know that Grady likes Porsches? Did you recently see that Mikey's head exploded since he tried to actually fit more Chevelle and Camaro knowledge in there?:hmmm: These things and more can only be found on Yenko.net.":scholar:

But seriously, thanks for the thoughts and concerns, my friends. But fear not! Most all the major stuff will be done in the next month and I can resume making no sense to anyone again!

I'll start a thread shortly with some before and after photos. I think you guys will enjoy them. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll realize SuperDave's back!

Cheers:beers:
Dave

Too Many Projects 08-31-2021 11:51 AM

Glad you came up for air to make a post...

About this Snow Cruiser...I'd never heard of it. As soon as I saw it was equipt with BALD tires, I knew it had to be a major boondoggle...

John Brown 08-31-2021 02:19 PM

Boondoggle, doesn't that usually require govt to be involved? Asking for a friend. :flag:

Yes, and they were to the tune of about $150,000....in 1937 dollars.

Ryan1969Chevelle 08-31-2021 11:54 PM

Is the video still available?

For some reason I can’t check it out?
