For a 1970 Nova (396-375HP)
What is the correct finish for the clutch cross shaft ?

It appears to be phosphated ?
Thoughts ?

If they are like a Chevelle which I would think they would be, they were dark grey phosphate.

Can I store and reuse the mixed solution?
yes you can store it in plastic containers such as milk jugs. You can reuse until the acid ph level reaches 7.3 and higher.
Zinc Phosphate/Parkerizing solution produces a light to medium gray finish, and can be used for automotive restoration. Works on all steel parts to produce the original OEM finish. We have been in business for over 45 years selling the same top quality product since our beginning. This product is easy to use, safe to handle, and produces a superior mat charcoal black finish. This product can not be sold outside the continental US. No international sales. Please feel free to contact us directly with any questions or comments regarding the product.
