I was chatting over FB with an uncle who was really into Chevy muscle cars back in the day, and he mentioned he had been 2nd owner of a 1968 L78 Camaro, he said it was green and I've since sent him the paint codes to see if he could figure out what it was. I showed him pics of green 68's and he's pretty sure it was British Rally Green.. Black vinyl top. He added 4.56 gears.
First owner: Doctor Second owner: Nicky D (Carney's Pt area, NJ) I'll keep asking him for more info. ***Edited color to British Rally Green. |
Oops can an admin move this to the L78 forum?

Looks like the one that shows up to the Flemington, NJ cruise nights every year. Cant be that many L78 Sequoia? Green 68's out there. I cant seem to find the photos I have of it.

I had the photos posted here several years ago. Maybe you'll have a better result searching here for "Flemington Cruise Night" ?

BINGO! I have spoken to this guy before and he has owned this car for many decades, here in NJ. Those blue license plates are from the 1970's. I took these photos in July, 2006.

That car appears to be British Green and it has the RS equipment as well. Not a match to the one at the top of the page which has standard grille and no style trim chrome.

I talked to Nicky today and he said the car was British Rally Green.

He traded the car into a Chevy Dealer, I ask him which one and the year.
