Heartbeat City INT-3635

I know this is a new product but has anyone had an experience or opinions on this pre-cut carpet for the seat tracks. All feedback is greatly appreciated.

He makes it sound like this is an exclusive, made just for HBC. If so and it's new to market, it will be interesting to see if it does, actually, fit correctly. It does look interesting. I bought the molded 1 piece last year and now am waiting to see if this is a better set.

This is a great carpet set! You can put the carpet in the car with the seats bolted in just like it was done originally.

So, you installed this carpet set ? Any pics ?

I have only loose fitted my carpet, seems to fit perfectly. The front is not cut, but the back has the holes for the seat belts and the flaps that goes under the seat.

Sounds like a good product. I may need to look into this more in a couple months. Thanks

My understanding was that the front carpet was cut for the seat tracks.

I think there was just a little flap cut out for a relief for the front track bolts. And of course if you had a console or floor shifter.

From the single photo on HBC's web site the cut outs for the seat tracks look accurate including around the rear bolt holes. As noted you'll still have to split the front carpet and do a cut-out for a console if optioned. Interestingly, they don't remove the welting from the front carpet (partially), as required for a correct installation, nor mention it.

Thanks for pointing that out. I just had a look the original carpet in our 67 turquoise interior car and see the same detail. Our black interior car will be receiving new carpet and the front carpet welting will be removed at the seats but I have noted that the welting isn't trimmed out consistently with respect to the seat track locations.
Is it known if the welting removal has more to do with ease of carpet installation than carpet fit/fiinish between the seat tracks?
