Beautiful car...claimed to be "numbers matching" - what do you folks think about the window sticker authenticity?

Just talked to the salesman there, nice guy, and he sent me a pic of the pad stamp which IMO was a deck and re-stamp, not even close the the original stamping. Makes you wonder about the rest of the car. They apparently bought it with the understanding of it being numbers matching, which is a loosely held term these days.
You would think experienced dealers could spot these types of things. Paul |

Here you go, trans stamp is hard to read, but fonts and spacing on the deck are way off. Last pic is an original, basically identical to my original L79 Chevy II I bought back in 1985.

Who knows if it is even the right block casting #362, and what the casting date is?
