Kenny Ross Chevy/Zelionople, Pa. question
 

Can any western PA member tell me if Kenny Ross was the dealer in Zelionople, Pa in 1970 and is it still the same ownership today or just kept the name ? Anyone ever check with this dealer to document an old car ? Thank You

George I know a fella who either worked there or still does...and bought a new El Camino there in 70..I will get a hold of him.

Albert, that sounds like a great start. I'm looking to see if anything may exist on a pretty good '70 Z RS 4spd Daytona Yellow, 3pc spoiler car I just bought. Owner from 1974 confirmed it came from Kenny Ross. Supposedly stayed in that area all its life til now. Keep me posted Albert.

Didn't Kenny Ross commercials always have his mother or grandmother (some sweet ol' gal) encouraging car buyers to buy from his son/grandson?

Yes still in business - i drive thru there to aliquippa to see my parents - got a big old sign on the highway. Good folks and still willing to help the musclecar guys.

Kenny Ross was a Big dealer back in 70 Had a 70 LS-5 conv that came from there as well as a LS-6 . The family still runs the dealer but I beleive it moved. I chased the original sale papers for both. They have them archived in an old mine and may be if Your local You can get somewhere !!

It is located on Rt30 Irwin Pa...They also have a Ford dealership not far from the Chevy one...BKH

OK locals, here is what should have been my orig question. Was Ross the Zelionople, Pa dealer in 1970, if not who was ? All I know is my car was sold new in '70 in Zelionople.

I was thinking Kenny Ross was the one on Baum Blvd...Sort of between Oakland Esliberty (Pittsburgh-ese for East Liberty)

ok geo,the name of the chevy dealer in zeli was zeigler chevy that was right in town,hey unreal the dealer in east liberty was don allen chevy geo i hope that helps some, oh there is a kenny ross dealer about 5 miles south of zeli on rt 19 but,has only been there sense late 80,s
