Both Dennis Cumby and I have Fuji Fine Pix Cameras. I have the S5100 ( few years old) and Dennis has the S5200. They are 5 megapixel cameras)

were you using natural light mode for exterior shots and flash for engine shots? ive got the bug for a new camera mine is not up to par anymore. looking at the s5200 thanks Donnie |

The Fuji5200 is a great low light camera. I DON'T use a tripod...so that's hand held...mostly in the dark...Flash for engine shots only. I leave that until I want to experiment. The best thing I can tell you is to fool around with it a bunch in different light situations until you feel comfortable with it.
