Spring Chevy/Vettefest, 2007.
 

As many of you know, SuperCar Reunion 10 is being dedicated to Yenko Chevrolet. SCR10


Well, so is the Spring 2007 Chevy/Vettefest. Chevy Vettefest Sort of a pre-SCR10 kick off party. Of course we hope all Yenko owners, as well as ALL supercar owners, will have their car(s) at the SCR, but would also like to see a nice another nice showing of sYc member cars at VF. And since Bob was kind enough to put our Camaro on the flyer, guess we should make it the first entry. Received word that the "First Lady", Helen Gibb, will be attending. With emphasis on Yenkos, neat that Helen will be on hand, as Fred Gibb Chevrolet sold a Yenko built car or two. Now how rare, and neat, would a '67 Yenko/Gibb Camaro be?

As more &amp; more time goes by,I realize now how fortunate we were for him to bring that thing out at all,let alone to a local cruise night a few years back.
It really is a cool Chevelle,albeit dusty..

I kept the coolest of all the cars I had !!! Dennis...I have Dan gathering up stuff to put the hat back on it....maybe I can have Dan clean it...dust it and get it to VF !

I see a little friendly competition with two 69 COPO Chevelles attending....Albert vs. Gagliano....both cars are of the very highest caliber....I see a judging dual...one that will surely give the judges a run for thier money....perhaps "Topgun"

My COPO is far from a show car....get real !!!! I don't need a transmission switch..I need the little plastic kick down wire clip !!! Interior and dash are all original, the bumpers are original...in fact...the seat vinyl is not real supple anymore...it was not a frame off restoration either ...it's just cool. It won't get judged that's for sure !

In the interest of improving the show, I am looking at getting away from some of the...shall we say, less then nice vehicles that enter, since this is a Car Show not a cruise.

Also, in my incredibly anal ways, I actually attempt to stagger the colors of the cars on the floor and try to keep clashing color cars apart from each other. I also put try to put the nicer entries in end spots, especially if they have some sort of display and/or carpet.
