Re: 69 RS/Z-28 on Ebay
Seems to me like it should be higher. I would expect to go into the 80's. I would not let mine go for less than that.

Re: 69 RS/Z-28 on Ebay
Are people really paying 80K for 69 Z's now. Wow, seems high for the amount produced. Cool cars, but I am suprised. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/flag.gif

Re: 69 RS/Z-28 on Ebay
Remember when 80k was the high water mark for a Yenko Camaro?

Re: 69 RS/Z-28 on Ebay
I wonder when this Musclecar market is going to top out? I never would have thought that a mass produced car like the 69 Z28 would sell for that much.

It's because the 69 Camaro was the coolest GM car ever made. Rare or not rare, people dig 'em.

Re: 69 RS/Z-28 on Ebay
I would have to agree it is the coolest and possibly best looking car GM ever made.

70's are nice too, but cooler than the 69? C'mon now... https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/wink.gif

Re: 69 RS/Z-28 on Ebay
The 69 is a better looking car but the 70 is a better driving car.

Re: 69 RS/Z-28 on Ebay
One of the major factors that impacts resale value today is the market for restoration parts. You can build a complete '69 out of a catalog. You cannot do that with a '70. Easily factor x 10 harder to do a correct '70 resto. That greatly impacts current value in the resale market.
Second generation cars were also very old in the tooth by the time they got rid of them in 81' they were well past the muscle car period. Which car is better? All you have to do is read the reviews from the period. They tell the story. BTW.. I also own two first generation cars so I like them too,and believe me they are lots more fun to collect and restore. Phil https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/beers.gif |
