Starting to hear more and more about musclecar thefts.. I'd gladly pitch in some extra $ for it...

My friend is a police officer here. He always has side jobs doing hotel security. Perhaps the Collinsville PD?

ummm great idea but I think rent a gaurd would be waaaay better, they wont cramp the fun and can sure yell or dial 911 as easy as anyone, them just walking around all night will prevent anything from going on I am sure...if the real guys are around.. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/no.gif

just may get some newbie that will not be keen on a little display of traction loss....

I would kick in some bucks also, we use them out here for our buildings and two nights wont cost much.

At this years Nova Nationals they charged every trailer a $20.00 for security. Not really that bad of an idea...cheap insurance really...BKH

Bastards tried to get my whole rig a year and a half ago... Caused over $2800 Dollars in damage to my truck in the process. This time I was just a little smarter then them. Rig was right where I parked it the next morning.

Nice Hotel, had video camera's and the local PD making rounds several times a night. I got the copy of the hotel video tape and the cops can be seen on the tape driving by. Thieves approached from the blind side of the video camera. Needless to say they were not deterred by the security. I won the day by making it so tough to get they gave up. I would pay that gladly at every show I go to...just to sleep well at night. I think it will have to become a a part of all overnight shows.

Nothing gets loaded in until Friday late afternoon. That is why I brought this subject up. I really think we need security Thursday evening/Friday morning. Seems others feel the same both on and off the forum...
